About Me

Born in sunny Freiburg im Breisgau, I studied instrumental pedagogy (specializing in jazz and popular music with electric guitar as my main instrument) at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz, Austria, from 1993 to 1997, graduating with distinction. I furthered my studies in music—and life—at the “Popkurs” program at the University of Music and Theatre Hamburg in 2002.

From 2005 to 2025, I was a permanent member of the Blue Man Group band, performing in Berlin and on tours worldwide.

Since 2025, I have been playing electric guitar (as a substitute/cover) for the show “Blinded by Delight” at the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin.

In addition, I have worked and continue to work as a musician and composer for numerous theaters (including the Berliner Ensemble, Prime Time Theater, Maxim Gorki, SETanztheater, and Theater o.N.) and as a guitarist in various bands.

Since 2022, I have been providing band coaching as part of the professional training program at Drumtrainer Berlin, and since 2025, I have been teaching guitar and electric guitar at the Barnim District Music School in Eberswalde.
